Returning from a trip to Istanbul, the skies were clear & Europe was covered in snow. I spent hours gazing at the endless illuminated wilderness below, as if in a dream. Arc Of A Snowfall is an attempt to recapture that feeling.

Having followed David for a while, I must say he never ceases to intrigue, in the best possible way. It's uncanny how he has almost reinvented folk music by applying modern tropes with traditional instruments. Alongside of all of this are field recordings which give a sense of locale and ancient history to his works. Magick. Michael J Bates
